Serenity is important. I find a calm place where I can contemplate to bring out my feelings and inner-being, in order to paint. My pictures are in abstract or non-representation and represent my thoughts and feelings, rather than a concrete object or model.
I evolved my own style and methods of working with materials. I keep myself isolated for the purpose of not being influenced by another artist.
Meditation is my spiritual discipline as I prepare to work. The titles are given to me intuitively when the paintings are near or at completion. For me, the entire process is an act of prayer. It is living part of my spiritual life, ye I do not know if one would call me a religious artist.
