Cerulean Gallery Explores Artistic Dimensions                                

in Upcoming Exhibition



Dallas, May 9, 2006 —Cerulean Gallery is pleased to announce its latest exhibition entitled “Dimensions” which will run May 19 through June 27.  The exhibit will explore the building of mediums and layers to create the different dimensions in art, ranging from thin oil on canvas to sculpture.


Exhibiting artists will include:


o        Liz London, McKinney, TX - Mixed Media, Assemblage, Sculpture 

o        Patty Rooney, Dallas. - Encaustic 

o        Caitlin Dalton, Washington D.C. - Oil on Canvas

o        Robin Hazard-Bishop, Hot Springs, AR. - Pastel on Suede

o        Caroline Crockett Pickton, Dallas - Oil on Canvas



“Dimensions will feature a whimsical variety of mediums and themes,” said Caroline Crockett Pickton, owner of Cerulean Gallery.  “For example, each of Liz’s pieces use a combination of mediums and symbolism to tell a story.  Patty expresses interiors and objects with thick layers of encaustic carved down to the canvas in some areas.”


The artists’ reception will be Friday, May 19 from 6:00p.m. – 9:00p.m.
