Cerulean Gallery Relocates Outside Dallas
Dallas, August 3, 2009 —Cerulean Gallery’s Snider Plaza location, a hallmark in Dallas’ art scene, will be relocating outside of Dallas/Fort Worth. The gallery’s owner, Caroline Crockett Kneese, will be moving to the Panhandle, where her husband has taken a new job.
Expanding her online services including consulting and sales, Kneese will continue to find and place artwork for her Dallas clients as well as represent the works of Denver Moore, author of Same Kind of Different as Me, and various Texas-based artists.
Cerulean Gallery will continue to operate online with inventory available at www.theceruleangallery.com, and by appointment during Kneese’s frequent visits back to Dallas. Clients may contact Kneese directly at firstname.lastname@example.org, if they are interested in a particular work or would like to meet with her to discuss specific art needs.
“I have worked hard to grow my business over the past three and a half years. Thanks to the support of my clients, the Park Cities and Dallas communities, and the hard work of my co-director, Virginia Marum, my publicist, Andrea Hugg, and the very talented artists that we represent, the gallery has survived the economic downturn and continued to have a very successful year,” said Kneese. “While the relocation is unexpected, I am thrilled to start a new chapter in my life and grow my business in a new direction.”
Cerulean Gallery expresses its gratitude to the media who have graciously considered her exhibitions and space in numerous publications.
The gallery will exhibit the final show “Point of View” through August 10, 2009. The exhibiting artists share similarity in their use of vibrant, bold colors and applications, however some with specific details of a place and others abstracted with gesture and symbols. Exhibiting artists include:
o Marilyn Biles, Houston, TX – Large abstracts, oil on canvas
o Suzanne Fuqua, Phoenix, AZ – Dallas landscapes, oil on canvas
o Ellen Soffer, Shreveport, LA – Bold abstracts, oil on canvas
o Ken O'Toole, Ft Worth, TX – Expressionistic abstracts, acrylic & ink on paper
o Kim Wyly, University Park, TX – Whimsical abstract oils on canvas
